FALLES PROGRAMME 2009
SUNDAY 8TH
At 2 p.m. “Mascletá” (Firecrackers festival). Place: Falla Oeste, Plaza Valgamedios.
At 2:30 p.m. “Globotada” (Balloons sound festival ) for childrens. Place: Falla Les Roques, Loreto street.
FROM THE 9TH TO THE 14TH
At 2 p.m. Announcement firecrackers.
At 11:30 p.m Disco music. Place: Falla Saladar, Diana and Saladar crossroads.
SUNDAY 15TH
At 8 a.m. “Plantà” (setting up) of all Fallas . Place: Fallas districts.
At 1 p.m. Pork festival, roasted pork will be offered for all visitors. Place: Falla Saladar, Diana and Saladar crossroads.
At 2 p.m. Announcement fireckakers.
At 5 p.m. “Globotada” (Balloons explotion festival) for childrens. Place: Marqués de Campo, Diana streets and Plaza del Consell.
At 9 p.m. “Nit d´Albaes” (Popular songs festival) Place: Fallas districts.
MONDAY 16TH
At 2 p.m. Announcement firecrackers.
At 11 p.m. “Plantà” (setting up) of the Town Council Falla, then Chocolate, “Churros” and “Buñuelos” (fritter and donoughts) will be offered for all visitors. Place: Town Hall square.
TUESDAY 17TH
At 1 p.m. Awards Ceremony for “Fallas” in all participating sections. Place: Town Hall building.
At 2 p.m. “Mascletà” (sound fireworks). Place: Fallas districts.
At 7 p.m. “Mascletà” (sound fireworks). Place: Railway station parking.
At 11 p.m. Live music festival. Place: Fallas districs.
WEDNESDAY 18TH
At 5:30 p.m. Clowns and castles workshop for childrens. Place: Falla Roques. San Francisco street.
At 8 p.m. Music bands concert. Place: Plaza del Consell.
At 9:30 p.m. “Mascletà” (sound fireworks). Place: Railway station parking.
At 11 p.m. Live music festival. Place: Fallas districts.
At 11:30 p.m. Concert of Soraya (spanish pop singer star). Place: La Vía street.
After that disco music.
THURSDAY 19TH
At 11 a.m. Mass in honour of St. Joseph in the Asunción Church.
At 11:30 a.m. Flower offering to our Lady of the Foresaken (“Virgen de los Desamparados”). Place: Along Marqués de Campo, Diana, Magallanes streets towards the Plaza del Convento.
At 2 p.m. “Mascletà” (Sound fireworks). Place: Falla Les Roques, San Francisco street and in other Fallas districts.
At 5 p.m. Falleros parades. Place: Fallas districts.
At 5:30 p.m. Clowns and castles workshops for childrens. Place: Falla Les Roques, San Francisco street.
At 8:30 p.m. Last “Mascletà” (sound fireworks). Place: Railway station parking.
“Cremà” (Burning) of the Children´s Fallas
•1st Secction Children´s Fallas
At 9 p.m. Burning of all Children´s Fallas except the 1st Prize.
At 9:30 p.m. Burning of the 1st Prize.
•Special Section Children´s Fallas
At 10 p.m. Burning of all Children´s Fallas except the 1st Prize.
At 10:30 p.m. Burning the 1st Price.
“Cremà” (Burning) of the adult Fallas
At midnight fireworks and burning of the Town Hall Falla.
•1st Section adult Fallas
At 00:15 a.m. Burning of the 7th and 6th Prize.
At 00:30 a.m. Burning of the 5th and 4th Prize.
At 1:00 a.m. Burning of the 3th and 2th Prize.
At 1:15 a.m. Burning of the 1st Prize.
•Special Section adult Fallas
At 1:30 a.m Burning of the 4th, 3rd and 2nd Prize.
At 2:00 a.m Burning of the 1st Prize.
