Dénia is considered to a real Mediterranean nautical power, with outstanding competitions at regional, national and international level such as sailing regattas, rowing competitions, pirogue and fishing.

In their respective categories these are some of the most important events:

The Salt Route, the Costa Blanca Regatta or the Canal Cup (Spanish Championship of High Sea Cruisers) in sailing, the Final of the Rowing League of the Valencian Community and the Regional Championship of Long Distance or the City of Dénia Trophy for high sea Corsican fishing.
