Dénia, the avant-garde of good table
Getting deeply into Dénia’s cuisine, we must point out appointments with the good table, such as the Arròs a Banda International Contest, celebrated every year in March, the most important event having arròs a banda (a rice dish) as the leading role. This contest is organised by the Marina Alta Hoteliers Association, with the collaboration of the Dénia Council tourism Department and it has become an inescapable appointment for professionals in the trade.
On the other hand, Ecodénia, la Food and Natural Health Exhibition celebrated around the October, 9 regional holiday, is an event you can’t miss since it offers the best of the region’s products, the renowned and recommended Mediterranean diet.
Furthermore, the restaurant sector in Dénia is perfectly structured and regulated by the Marina Alta Tourism Hoteliers and Entrepreneurs Association. Likewise, another indicator of know-how in Dénia’s tourism trade is the Dénia’s Qualified Training Centre (Cdt).
