Campaign ‘fresquet i bo’ summer 2024
With the arrival of summer, shopping at the market has a prize. The Dénia Market is launching a new dynamisation initiative: the ‘Fresquet i bo’ campaign with which it wants to thank its customers for their loyalty with a refreshing reward.
On Tuesdays and Thursdays between the 16th of July and the 27th of August, for every purchase of more than 10 euros at any stall in the municipal market, you can enjoy a free horchata, a matchamango or a coffee and popcorn on presentation of your purchase receipt at the distribution point that will be set up in the market. The initiative has been made possible thanks to the collaboration of the Mercat stalls La Tahona de l'Avío and In-fusión Emporio de Sabores.
The campaign will be carried out according to the following calendar:
July: 16th (Tuesday); 18th (Thursday); 23rd (Tuesday); 25th (Thursday) and 30th (Tuesday).
August: 1 (Thursday); 6 (Tuesday); 8 (Thursday); 13 (Tuesday); 20 (Tuesday); 22 (Thursday) and 27 (Tuesday).
History:
The Dénia Municipal Market has been a meeting place for residents and traders for more than seventy years. Until the middle of the 20th century, the meeting place was at the Glorieta, at the end of Marqués de Campo street.
It was in 1955 when the current market was built, in the center of the city, a must to breathe the day to day of the city.
Dénia has been able to maintain the charm of the traditional markets, where we have to let ourselves be advised by those who work the sea and the land with their own hands.
Recently, events such as the "Nit de la LLum" or the "Creative Competition of the Dénia Red Shrimp" are held every year at the Mercat, enhancing their own natural attraction.
